19 November 2006 was the 93rd birthday of our dearest mother, Madam Tan Hua Heang. All her sons and daughters including the grand and great grand children were back from various parts of Malaysia and Singapore to celebrate this joyous occasion with her.This picture was taken at home after the birthday dinner at ShangriLa Restaurant in our hometown, Pontian Kechil. Several cousins and brothers had rushed back to Singapore after the dinner and were not in the photo. Still, with about 45 of us, this makes a memorable shot, doesn't it?

thanks for the best wishes... yes, mum has been blessed with good health all along and at this age, she still manages everything for us all... including preparing our meals when we "balik kampung" which is in Pontian, Johor.
i hope i would be like her when i reach her age, in about 40 years time.
which photos are you interested in? i have been approached many times to sell the digital copy rights for the twin towers photos but had resisted as i want to make it exclusive for my corporate usage. this pic now adorns the walls of many politicians, DGs, MPs etc whom my company has dealing with.

It's not difficult to find the restaurant as it is one of the biggest in Pontian. You can ask for direction as soon as you reach the town. It is located few doors from the Parkson Shopping Centre along Jalan Taib. Still unsure? Write to my email: wielmaja@gmail.com
