Raymond sent me these photos taken recently in the compound of Ngee Ann Polytechnic campus in Singapore. These photos show the condition of a tree (not sure what species) that had been struck by lightning recently....... AND SURVIVED !!According to eye-witnesses, the lightning bolt wrapped herself round the tree, leaving behind deep laceration marks on the tree trunk from top to bottom, but not spiltting it nor killing it!
A wonderful example of what Mother Nature is capable of !
